When does the club run?

The club runs every 2 weeks during term time. We take a break during the Summer and Christmas. The most accurate timetable for upcoming dates can be found on our Club Dates page

How long does the code club run for?

2 hours – 10am until midday.

Do I need to pay?

Avenue Library Code Club is free to attend.

Who can attend?

We welcome all children aged 9+
Parent’s and guardians are welcome to stay during the 2 hour code club.

Where is the club based?

Avenue Library Code Club is based at Avenue Library and Learning Centre in Blackley, Manchester. The library is connected to the Tesco so if you’re coming by car you may want to stop in the Tesco carpark. Here’s google map pin for the Library.

Is equipment provided?

During the 2 hour code club session your child will be provided with either a laptop or computer, an iPad, robot, raspberry pi, Microbit or any other technology we are using for that session. These are provided on a first come first served basis. If your child prefers to bring their own laptop they are welcome to but please do so at your own risk. All provided equipment will be remain at the library at the end of the session.

How does my child sign up?

You can complete this form and let us know of your intention to join us or you can call the library on 0161 219 2393 and they will let us know who is planning to join. You are welcome to turn up on the day without letting us know.
