Mission Zero is a fun project where coders send an 8-bit image to the International Space Station (ISS), where it appears on a screen for up to 30 seconds for the astronauts to see.

This week, we joined in and sent two images: one of Pikachu and another of a pickle. Everyone worked hard on the task, even adding a cool feature where the image's background changes based on things like the colour of an astronaut's shirt.
